This fish swam into a construction site when heavy floods occurred. Im not even sure if it's american. Any help would be appreciated.

The angle of the pictures make the body look like a fen. However, judging by the mouth I would guess that is a tilapia.

Second pic shows the classic Tilapia spot in the dorsal fin.
