I dont know what kind of fish this is. How big does it get and what it eats.
The only thing i know is that it lives in cold water. But mine goes along with warm water fish.

its a largemouth bass search for threads on them under lmb bass largemouth etc.
they get big largest ever caught was 25lb i think and they eat anything they get near they are very greedy

If you are impying ugly due to its lack of color that's probably because of the color of your substrate. A darker substrate and the LMB actually can become quite beautiful (proper diet as well).

The largest in captivity is like 19lbs...but in an aquarium any smaller than 600 gallons I wouldn't forsee it getting any larger than a couple pounds unless your LMB is the star of your tank and all parameters and feeding is geared towards it.
