Ok.i got this from a lfs about 3 months ago and would like to get another. But the lfs i got it from does not know what it is. Can someone id?

Looks like Gryinocheilus aymonieri, or one of that genus.

Its chinese algae eater. They eat algae for a little while then the become aggressive as they get larger and will suck the slime coating off fish.

Don't buy more pain in the but when they grow not sure of your stock but otto's are better choice but the don't grow much

It is in a tetra tank i was looking for one that would stay small and this is what they sold me. Said would not get bigger the 4 inches. I should of known better as they could not tell me exactly what it was.

A CAE will be fine with small community fishes instead of with the large fish.
