ID please

I have had this fish for a little over 2 years, it is about 9.5" and I was told that it was a red tail barracuda, I was recently sold a smaller one which looks about the same. I posted in the marketplace trying to pass on to another MFK nd they told me this one wasn't a cuda. Here's pics.

Red tail Brycon. Brycon dentex is the scientific name

It's some type of brycon.Red tail barracuda,vampire tetra and so forth,shame on the people in the shops for not properly labeling the fish that they sell.
