ID please?

Ok so I'm new but I figured I'd ask for help on my first day. Good start right? I found this little guy at my LFS and the owner said they didn't know what he was. I instantly liked him and took him home and put him in my 46 grow out tank. (He is only about 3 inches max. Atm. ) can anyone tell me what type of cichlid he is?

I have no knowledge of cichlids but it appears to be a parachromis of some variety RTM possibly?...the experts on here with get you an ID specifically.

Looks like a red tiger motaguense, not sure though.

Wow that was quick! Thanks guys! I picked it up for 10$ under miscellaneous since he had forgotten what type it was.

Definitely looks to me to be a parachromis motaguense. Maybe a female but hard to tell at that size and with that shot
