Saw this at my lfs this weekend
Was in a tank labeled "Ornate Bichir".
There were some ornates in the tank, but any idea what this one is?

The one next to the driftwood is the ornate. The other looks like palmas polli.

Depends on availability and size. I get my fish online and that's an average price I see. That doesn't o Clyde shipping. If I were to buy then it'll be easily over $45. From what I see i think it's fair.

Plus if it's a fish on my bucket list then any price will be good.

Polli is $40 usd at 4 inches in length at my fish store.

On a separate note. There's a place called Wharf Aquatics in Pinxton appears to have a good selection of poly at times. For example they have Teugelsei for £48 or 2 for £90.

Palmas Polli are also about $35-40 for ~3,maybe 4 inches in Florida as well.
Unfortunately, several hours from my part of Florida. I think that price is reasonable, depending on how long the fish is.
I suggest go grab it, your ornate is growing and once your ornate hit 9"its gonna be hard to put a smaller polys with it. I had a 5" ornate that ate a 3" endlicheri.
