Just been to my lfs and have these dats for sale which are apparently ST ?
Could someone tell me if they are or not as I don't believe they are.

It is an indo....IT not ST lol.The label used a common trade name but at least it has the latin name correct.True ST are Datnioides pulcher.

Glad to be able to help and as for the price,that varies by location of course.I could find indos in that size range at around thirty U.S. dollars.

No problemo.If you look into it further try and find out what it is eating.It would be a plus if it is eating pellets as most of them have to be trained off of live foods.

Just spoke to the bloke that has them and he's feeding them muscles for growth he said and they occasionally eat pellets

Good,they are eating pellets,that other stuff can be an occasional treat.Good quality lellets are best for growth and all around nutrition.
