chunky is darker green and the longer one is lighter greenish yellow with a silver gray head. both have nice white spots in the dorsal and upper tail and red on the lower tail and the anal and vent fins are a nice orange. getting yellow and black markings along the lateral line. Not the best pics LOL. They are 7 1/2 chunky and the other is 8" long got them at 5" 7weeks ago. growing fast and colors are real nice and getting better. PS getting marks on the backs also. Thanks.IMG_2297.JPG IMG_2296.JPG IMG_2294.JPG

I cant be that lucky. But I like that. Thanks

Got another question. how soon do they pair up or do they.? are they like black bass. Or other large cichlids? never had PBass before. I did not know that there were so many types.

The 2 I have are real good buddies. seems too good of buddies. Had 4 but the 2 I have now would not let the other 2 feed or come out of the top corner. And now the aggression is on the 8" Oscar. Tank size is 6'x2'x 30"tall . for now a quick fix Put Oscar in a 50 gal for now. Be getting an 8'x30"x30" sooner than I thought.

I think Oscar was just pacing to much. I rescued him from pet shop 6 day's ago. looked young and heathy. The tank they are in will be his. this Xmass. As long as he swims by them slow they don't mind him LOL. The bass and Oscar all pile up behind the drift wood and conk out. .

They like frozen thawed out chunks of tilapia .

Why Kelber? I don't care what they are . I just need to know how you guys can tell Pbass apart. LOL I can tell a Tem. But that's about it LOL. I love Kelberi OK thanks.

That spotting along the flank and tail suggest that they are kelberi to me.
