Something is off with this salton / capapretum. Spotting definitely is unique. Regular half stripes instead of irregular spots.

But I can't offer any other ID. It's does not appear to be a juruense or a tig.

Yea I'm getting different responses..hopefully when it grows more I can identify

The body and the fin proportions strongly suggest salton, i.e., capapretum, to me though. They lose the spotting by the time they get to 1'+ anyway.
