A friend gave him to me and in 2 days totally cleaned out my 40b of some MAJOR algea. Id say hes about 5" bad pic but he likes the dark corner. Also jas no imterest in 2 kinda of algra pellets, but i think hes gonna run outa algea soon

They will eat wafers if they get hungry enough. You said there was plenty of algea at first and the pleco has cleaned it up right? So it's not starving and once it runs out of tank goodies it will eat the wafers more than likely. I vote for sailfin
Nice fish for sure, I'd say P. pardalis.. dorsal doesnt look big enough to be a sailfin and the pattern's different.
Idk but he's super active at night, I just thought it was a lil diff than any common pleco I've had
