I googled cow fish and it only had the saltwater cow fish...
FYI i bought it for $3

It's a Marbled Goby. Cows have a distinct color separation.

its a marbled goby,had 2 of them..they grow to a good large size and are predatory.they will just sit and wait for a fish to pass and then just grab. unfortunately they became the prey in my tank.
