some sup species of long finned eel perhaps? Looks like a nice catch. Did you weigh and measure it?
I got it from the internet. Apparently this eel (locally named palos and is consumed as food) escaped from a wet market and went to the sewers and was caught near the drain.
Im not sure bout the story but its a nice fish either way.
