Hey guys i got this FH from a my a friend of mine..i dunno what kind of FH he is and also if a MALE/FEMALE....if anybody can give me info about this guy i would really appreciate it..thanks

we need size for best info.. but if its in the 2-4inch bracket its prob a normal male zz. if its a female <which it dosn't look like> its a good pick up cause of the lil hump. the kok might grow bigger but ull be able to tell around 5 inches if it will ever devolp. usually people say around three inches<unless kamfa> u can tell potential and thats what ive been going on until , and i kept one of my fry cause of its personality that had nothingin terms of kok, and then at 5inch mark it grew a kok so.. who knows. and gl. keeps us updated

Tankmates would be other ca or sa cichlids. These little guys are spunky and can hold their own. Just try to keep everyone around the same size and create territories. Be careful not to overcrowd if you want your guy to grow quickly. Nice fish.
