This goes to show than bichir keeping is more about ego than a species variant itself...
To me a cool bichir is a cool bichir....BUT part of me of wanting a PBB is an ego thing.
So yeah, I am guilty as well..but this is a good looking lap, I wouldn't pass on it if the price is right.
I don't turn down any polypterus if the price is right..or shipping isn't outrageous..

nah its not because its just a lap thats why im not gettin it, i personally like a lot of fish, as long as its compatible with my others, but the thing is , i already have a lap, so my parents wont let me spend the money to get another one especially when tis one is 5 times more expensive than the last one i got....
so theoretically, i could only get fish that is beneficial to the fish in the tank or its a totally different specie... unless i beg really hard.....
hope u guyz understand, im only a student, i buy fish from my saved lunch money xD not baller in anyway, cant just buy when i think i mite like it....

IMO,if you like the fish and are willing to pay,you get it.
