lol thats what the laws says, but hey who would know. release them from where you got them. dont return to a different place though
 
t.mariae from usa are already hybrid,real mariae are verry hard to find

Isnt this just the reason that they are illegal? Because people realease them? There IS a reason for this. Obviuosly they have been deemed a threat to the local ecosystem, and could possibly disrupt the delicate balance of the fauna. Even if the species is native, and is kept in home aquaria, the fish should never be released back into the wild.

I find it hard to believe that on a fish forum, where responsible fishkeepers share thoughts and ideas, that someone would even offer "release them" as a possible suggestion.
