You are right about a bagrid, Moe. Clarotes laticeps - a rarely offered large-growing catfish from north-east Africa.

It's rather drab-looking and non-descriptive when adult and is for a keeper who would appreciate it. Still very interesting fish that grows to 2.5'-3'.

Rarely seen. Jeff Rapps has or recently had them for $150 each.

Where have you seen it and for how much?
