Picked this fella up for free from a local who was having his house fumigated for termites. No idea what it is. He had an ad on CL for his tank and said that he had an 8" frontosa, a 14" scat, 20" CK and a few others.

I was only interested in the front as I have a 240 G front tank.

when I showed up he asked me to take em all because he had no one else interested and of coarse they'd die when the tent went up.

oh ya I forgot to mention he had em all in a 110...

at first he looked a little blue but his color has darkened to almost black
 
Tilapia buttikoferi and its an african cichlid. :D

Agreed on the Buttikoferi it's a West African cichlid. More like a SA for water requirments. Also they can be real A-holes. Very adaptable though. Should do well enough for you. Just keep the waterchanges up because they can develope a nasty case of HITH/HLLE if you dont.
 
They are awesome fish and full of personality. Hard to get rid of @ 14" though. Im surprised those fronts are still alive in the tank with it...
