Id shark eye help

My id shark lost an eye a few days ago so I moved him to a different tank, will it be able to live normally, and how long should it take for him to start eating again

He'll still live normally. If he is not eating, check the appearance of his poo. If he looks thinning out in the next few days, add praziquantel in his food. You could buy Kent's liquid garlic and add 3 drops on the food to persuade him to eat.

I saw him eat one pellets yesterday but he's not eating like he used to

Add garlic on it and check the poo. What are your water parameters? Forgot to add that one.

I don't have a test kit at the moment but I think it was my ornate bichirs that got is eye so he is now in the 180 divided from everyting except the datnoid

tank move and a fresh eye removal and i think i wouldn't want to eat either. REVENGE eye for an eye thing

I think when he feels better and adapts to his new tank he will eat. My fish fell out of a tank and split his fin and didn't eat for about two weeks and came around slow. I know it had to hurt.
