ID shark feeding

my two id sharks are still little and theyve been on flake food. they're eating it fine, but should i be feeding them something else?

Pretty much anything but flake food. try switching them to floating cichlid pellets. In time they should take a variety of foods. Mine will take those, algae wafers, shrimp, ect. Mine grows relatively slow compared to the 4' they are capable of with 3' more likely. hope this helps
