Hey all I just picked up two small leucistic ID sharks and am currently growing them out. they are around 2.5"-3" and I want to know the quickest way to bulk them up.
Also what would be a good size to put them in my big tank? anything smaller than 4" will be taken down by my florida gar.

I was going to pick just one but for some reason they scooped two and only priced me for one, so I'm not complaining. they were the only 2 leucistic in a batch of regulars.

Awesome! Can you post pics? Where did you get them? I wanted an albino to add with my 2 big guys in my 600! I would say they should be 8" or so. They grow fast I feed mine a variety of pellets shrimp tilapia ect.

I have a very crappy cellphone pic, and these guys are very blurry and fast moving. but you can clearly see that they are leucistic. they lack all black pigment except in the eyes its just a shame that the picture really doesn't capture their pink colour and the orangey white on their heads

yeah, I went in there after grabbing my paycheque from the local Hollister and I was actually looking to see if they had any hedgehog food, because I just got given a free hedgehog and I was told you could get commercial food for it. Turns out that isn't as easy as it sounds. But I noticed they had a group of dark ones and just these 2 light ones, I don't know how but I ended up getting them both and they thought that they had only caught one. I am very pleased with them though, I just want to grow them out and get some good result from them.

I have kept ID's twice before and they ended up lunch for bigger fish, so this time they are in my grow out tank which is where I keep my small delhezi and some comet feeders that I give to my gar (I feed them on protein flakes and such) My luck has been bad until now so Hopefully it will turn around. my latest clown knife was the same. Until I got him I couldn't get them to feed, my current guy is hand trained and also pellet trained. So heres hoping that they grow out nicely!
