MY 7 inch ID shark has a growth on its skin, the growht doesn't look any different than its skin, almost like a wort on a person, but I have never heard of anything like this, any ideas and is it harmful? treatments?

it doesn't look any different than his skin.... are you saying that it looks like damage to his scales?

my ID shark before also had these tumor like thing on the tip of its mouth, from constant observation i found out that it is caused by the constant bumping on the glass when it gets startled by sudden movements outside the tank.
I would buy that its from bumping things but its on his side, half way between his gills and tail in the middle of his body, an area that doesn't get bumped, very weird
