That is disgusting! No fish should ever be subjected to that sort of cruelty and it is even worse when you consider the fact that the fish in the tank can easily be weaned onto dead foods such as whitebait or cod roe.

Hum you must not have any monsters yet? Most monsters eat live food, "feeder fish"; it’s natural and happens in the wild. I don't find this cure at all; maybe you should be sure that you only drink water and eat only bread and veggies. This way you don't subject any creatures to the cruelty of death just to be food for yourself. No milk either wouldn’t want to sexually molest a cow just so you can drink would you?

If u eat meat u shouldnt feel this video is cruel. Most of us hear have a fish or a whole tank we fish live fish to, Its normal.

I can accept that this would happen in nature, but as the aquarium is an artificial environment, the same rules should not be applied. I cannot cannot think of any reason for a fishkeeper to deliberatly sacrifice one species to another. The only exception would be on a temporary basis to allow the subject to be converted on to alternative sources of food.

COME ON!!!!!!!:nilly: It's a known fact that fish get more nutrients from a live feeder than they can't get from a prepared food. It's how it happens in nature, and you know, I don't really see it as sacrifice. Do you eat cows and pigs and chickens, do you eat meat? Then you're cruel too. We have alternative food sources too, do you eat them? :screwy: This is how it happens in nature, and in creating a fish tank, we try to mimic the natural environment, hence, live fish as food.:chillpill:
