ID some new fish in my tank

So I recently took all my mbuna to a LFS, who gave me a bunch of store credit for them. Naturally I instantly turned around and used said store credit on a bunch of various CA/SA cichlids (7 total), a few of which I have no positive ID on. If you guys can help me out I'd really appreciate it!

I have 2 of these, they seem to act like a pair. I know it's technically a pike cichlid, but that section seems pretty dead.



As for these pics, I think it's a grammodes?

How can you tell its a blue gene? i hate it when people say that.

+1 on Jgentry's comments.

On the dempsey, there is no way to get the genetics of a fish by looking at it. No way to tell if it is a BGJD unless you bred it.

I know the last one is a Jack Dempsey, I was just trying to get a clear side shot of the grammodes and she jumped in.

Thanks for the positive IDs though! So far they all seem to be getting along very well. Next fish I'm on the lookout for are a black nasty, a decent looking green terror, a decent little tiger oscar, a festae, and a nicaraguan cichlid.

The centrarchus won't be able to hang with the grammodes and Haitian when they get bigger. Although they aren't passive fish, they are on the lower end of the aggression scale.

They are one of my favorites. Good luck with them.
