Id Synodontis Catfish please

Can someone id this Synodontis Catfish for me? I think its a Synodontis flavitaeniatus but I know nothing about them. It was actually sold to me as a bushynose pleco (was in a hurry, saw the name on the glass, saw something hiding behind a rock, told the guy and went to look for other things, bought it and left... got home and was like wait a minute...) Its about 3-4 in long, paid 11$ for it. So anyone have a positive id, and did this "bushynose pleco" cost me too much?

are these shortly after the fish was put in the tank? The markings are very faded. Could be flavitaneous, but there are two or three othercats that are similar, so if his color has come back or if he is just like this that could help. But ill keep looking i havent opened the catfish bible yet.

ya that was right after he spent 45 minutes or so in the bag and right when I added him to the tank. He darkened up a lot later in the night. I can try to get another picture but he spends most of his time under the driftwood. If he peeps out long enough for a shot ill take it and post it
