I got this tadpole from a lfs with a buch of ghost shrimps a couple of months ago and hes/shes be living in my 10g since then. It just sprouted its front arms and im hoping someone would help me id him/her or suggest how to take care of it. My main concern is if its ok too keep it in the 10g without drowning because i dont know when or how it goes about breathing air when it gets to that stage, it still breaths in the water right now. Any info would help, thanks in advance.

Leopard frog. Just get one of those cheap turtle docks for now.

It's going to need some land soon. Just fill the tank half way and get one of those floating logs or lily pads for aquariums.

When it metamorphoses completely, you can keep it in a regular terrarium with just a water dish. Until then, just give it something it can easily crawl out onto.

"absorb".
Pretty cool thing, but yea might appreciate the opportunity to get onto land, even now.

leopard tadpoles are more motted, this is prob a pig frog. my guess.
