I don't know the Geo species very well but it is a Geophagus, what i do know is that you have great camera skills.

It is Acarichthys heckelii

It is no Geophagus altifrons, it is an Acarichthys heckelii and the photo was take by Japes just as VRWC linked. It is a beautiful fish and pic too! That pic is what got me into SA's to begin with.

As above, A. heckelii, this shot won POTM here in February 2009.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you find the shot? Has cropped up in a few places without my permission unfortunately.
