Hi Guys ...I just saw this FH in nearby LFS..Can u help me to ID this and whether it has the potential since am planning to get him....First I just wanna know the ID ...

Golden base SRD flowerhorn. Hes still fading a bit but I can see he can be a golden base.
If I saw this fish and price was right I would pick it up asap.

Flowerhorn that have black blotches meaning they're fading. You can see the goldenish hue to it. Honestly potential can be high or low. I've seen fish with little to no kok young at life and pretty big later on in life.

So let's hope it's a golden base.. Planning to get him ASAP. But he is little bit shy in his environment now..... Let's hope for the best. From your comments I would take it and purchase him

Beautiful fish with great potential. He already has great color and the size and shape of his kok is ripe for even more growth. You can tell by the up and out growth of the kok where some of his fat is being stored. Pump him up and please keep us updated!
