Curious to know what Oscar I am owning as the shopkeeper said it as a chilli red. But am not sure whether it's the same.

Just a made up name for that Red Oscar.

I have seen a few stores attempt to sell red albino oscars by that name.
They refer to chili ? as being a really deep red color.

I wouldn’t say that’s a ?. Just a regular albino red oscar. I have seen some albino oscars extremely deep red which were also being sold as chili. I guess those you could say were. They were being sold by aquascapeOnline a while back. But they definitely had a much deeper orange red coloration.
Below is what they call a chili red and that isn’t photoshop I’ve seen them that color. They are just not easy to find.

The black eyes and black in the fins prevent it from being a true Albino. I agree its a Lutino Red Oscar.
The Chilli Red ones are on another level of red.

Sexing Oscars is almost impossible. You really don't know what you have until they are in breeding condition and you can see the egg tube from the fishes vent or not as the case maybe.

Sorry, they look black in the pics. Maters not tho, the black in the fins prevents it from being a true albino.

If you want to get the orange coloring to really pop start feeding your Oscar freeze dried krill daily.

This was my Oscar pre Krill each meal

And about a month after I started krill each meal

A few months later

And finally at a year old
