ID these 2 cool cats pls...

I think they are Columbian sharks, or silver tipped sharks. I believe once they are adults, they will prefer a brackish environment. Grow to 12-13 inches I believe. Cute lil fellas. Nice pic.

someone told me they will need brackish but i didnt really trust petsmart... glad you told me that. At what size should they be switched to brackish?

i knew it was columbian or something like that ..but wasnt sure...and u can switch them at around 5 or 6 inches i believe

they look like the silver tips my daugther had in her brackish water tank, at least until her g.tiles tasted them. now she's down to one

just slowly increase the salinity over time. you will notice their activity rise. I keep all my fresh water tanks with a little salt anyway. About 1tbsp per 5 gals.
