Can I get some positive ID's on these two fellahs?

I am thinking the 2nd one is a Festae or Urophthalmus, but not sure with the juvenile.. He was a rescued fish..

The firstI believe to be a Convict/Texas hybrid.. Notice the speckeling near the base of the tail.. This picture was taken right after it had been moved, so its showing some dark stress coloration.. When I initially rescued the fish, it settled into its current tank and was showing very 'different' colors then a convict.. It had a teal/bluish irridescence to it, as well as some very ice-blue looking lips.. Hopefully he colors up soon, because when I first got him he was amazing..

I think your correct on your guess Miles. It's tough on what we suspect to be hybrids but that first pic does look like a convict / texas. I think the lower pic is a uro, I don't think it's a festae.

i agree, at first i thought it was amix of a convict and a dempsey because they commonly interbreed, but then once i read that you though it was a con/tex mix i fully agree, i think the other is a uro, but the tail is kind of angled upwards so it is hard to tell whether or not the spot is centered, but it looks like a uro
