ID these Cats....

Ok, so I have another thread with some fish which we think may be black ear Sharks (catfish)

However, I stopped by another fish store and they had these guys labeled as black ears...although they don't have the black spots near the pectoral fins. These have black markings on their anal fins. I don't think these are black ears like the others, but I don't know if they are IDs...so here we go again....what are they???? Thanks in Advance.

Can you give us a buttload of pics like you did with the other ones?

Almost certain they're paroons.
 
I agree with Rob and it's nice that you have quite a few shops out there that bring in some rare and interesting fish.The few privately owned shops that are left in this town either try to mimic the big box stores or they just don't bother ordering any interesting fish these days.
 
Unfortunately I did not bring one home so I can't snap any close ups, but if i pick one up tomorrow I will take some pics at the shop as well as when i get it home.

wow, I wasn't expecting to hear paroon, but if that's what they are that's cool. Definitely will try and get some pics to lock in an id on these guys. Again, thanks guys for the feedback!
