ID these cichla!

They seem to have a less prominent stripe than young temensis. Maybe they're just losing the stripe, but they look small enough to have one.
 
Hmmm those look like Young Temensis.

They could be temensis or a temensis type cichla like the Lower Amazonas type ones.

What did you buy them as?

nice pick up btw.
As i said they arnt mine yet, should be getting 4 of them this week.
They are listed as cichla sp "tapajos" but the spots made me think temensis?
 
I just did more search. I believe my guess may be right. They Rio Tapajos are the "temensis type" I believe they are the ones referred to as Cichla sp. Lower Amazonas. Similar to my Rio Tocatins Cichla.
