I have two huge plecos one I bought as a watermelon pleco and is about 8-9", the other I bought as a royal and is about 10-11", what exactly are they and can you sex them?

The one pic that I’m holding it is the one I bought as a watermelon the other is the one I bought as the royal.

they are both really close.. I think its markings that makes the difference i think you might actually have both there.
