Would those cute little gars be Atractosteus tropicus? The Tropical gar? I'm completely green with envy.

Whoa......... the great Phil is Unsure............ haha........ i'll get better pics up tomorrow..............

maybe..........

Hard to tell with them not in water but, are those chinese perch - Siniperca chuatsi? I hate deciphering fry patterning!! They could be Siniperca scherzeri - the Mandarin perch.

The catfish is too out of focus and too out of water (hint, hint) for me to pick out any details.

I realize that pics don't upload as sharp as they look on the host pc. I tried to make out the telltale trident on the heads that stands out as a tropical gar trait.

ok to be honest i'm not sure either........... but they gave me this name which is Lepisosteus tristoechus.......... hybrid?

They could be baby gator gars. I've never seen any this small. BTW, Lipisosteus was changed to Atractosteus tristoechus - Alligator gar. When any of these gars yawns, you should see multiple rows of teeth (instead of single rows like the smaller species of gars.
