Can you guys tell if these rams are two different variants and if possible their sex?

+1 red on their belly is female and colors make it easy to tell they are GBR

That was what I believe as well, I just notice such a color discrepancy between the two I couldn't help but to believe one gold.

A gold ram would be just that -- gold. They wouldn't carry so much blue and would have a dark orange/red cap on their forehead in most cases. These are blues.

Thanks, I'm just so shocked by how much their color changes during feeding and stuff. Really cool fish.
