Please Someone?

Where did you get these snails? They do look like canas to me. Could you please take more shots from different angles of the small one featured on fourth pic?

She collected them from a local spring. We got them from the wild. The little snail looks just like the big one but smaller. Did that help?

There is an established population of Pomacea insularum and P. canaliculata there in Florida. Both are of canaliculata complex known for aggressive behavior and can seriously displace other species of snails such as the P. paludosa but the flapples (P. paludosa) are found only in the everglades. Is that where she got them? Have these snails laid eggs already?

The second one doesn't look like an apple snail to me with the spire looking a bit longer. Have you seen the viviparid snails? The second one looks just like one but I haven't tried the viviparids yet so I can't be the judge of that one. Maybe get a pic of it next to a ruler to determine the size.

We leave in north florida a hour from the border. They little one is 1/8 if a inch and has a round shell. The spiral shells are like the spiral shells you get from the ocean. What kind of pictures do you need to be sure on what they are?

I would be cautious of parasites, wild caught snails can sometimes harbor nematodes and anchors worms as well as some other stuff.
