Looks like a Victorian of some sort. Hard to tell when it isn't colored up very well.
 
Thats how it always looks even when it was in the lfs, sometimes it has a red tinge on the edges of its fins
 
Could be a few reasons for this;

1. Stressed out due to tank mates
2. Poor bloodlines/inbreeding
3. Hybridization

What did they call it at the LFS?
 
Unfortunately it wasn't labled in the LFS, it was the only one like that in a tank full of Malawi's. That's why i've started the thread.
 
looks like a female Astatotilapia aeneocolormaybe?

generic name maybe a yellow belly albert or large mouth albert
