He is very small, I appreciate the comment, I would say hes ~1inch maybe a bit smaller, got him for $8, worth every penny in my opinion.

hap. milomo, aka VC10, aka big-lip cichlid, yours was fed hormones, he should not be that colorful at that size.

Nice dude, I hope he grows into a beast. He is pretty good now, not skittish in the least.

I think Tomorrow I will wash some sand and transfer some plants to his tank.

I have been feeding him Hikari Cichlid staple, where can I pick up these hormones?

harmones are bad ,they cause early coloration in both M and F not good for fish long term.
