About 10" nose to tail. Previous owner had no clue what it is.

my first instinct, without further research is a member of the Pimodella genus.

perhaps, Pimelodus blochii? or similar?
 
looks alot like my columbian shark cats except it appears to have a goldish color..
 
very nice cat... more pics when you can please..are these fresh or salt?
