id this catfish for me

I found this catfish at a lfs for cheap, thought it looked cool so i took it home and its floating on my 60 gallon right now. any ideas what kind of catfish it was? the people at the store didnt know or have any idea. It sorta just looks like a regular channel catfish, but im not sure. I felt bad cause it was in such a small cubicle so i decide hey what the hell.

actually those pictures make him seem alot skinnier than he actually is. Im gonna fatten him up tho, for sure. I hope he does wel though. thanks for the id.
