almost like a jaguar gulper hyrbid

hi cheers for replys, it was sold to me under the name Liosomodoras oncinuser true jaguar catfish , but to me it looks more like Liosomadoras morrowi false jaguar catfish

if it is a jaguar catfish it looks different to the ones i see..but i think its a hybrid or a relative cause a jaguar catfish has very distinctive pattern and coloration..so its probably a relative man/woman:popcorn:

^ What he said, false jag. Still a nice fish though. You'll prolly never see it in your tank same as the regular jags as they hide all day.

Happy this is a recent enough thread to bump it by saying I just bought the ten-year-old specimen that's spent its life at King's Discus in Chinatown. Mine is so bedraggled that I'm considering removing a lot of the hanging fin tissue whether or not it will grow back. Looks nasty. And its dorsal fin folds down sideways. Is this normal or is he just that battle-worn?

For a second I thought that said "Bedazzled" and I was going to be slightly concerned. Haha.
