How big does it get? What is the scientific name?

It is not an armored catfish. You can't even see any scales, so I'm not sure why anyone would think it is an armored catfish.

It appears to me to be a TSN/RTC hybrid, and can grow to three feet long. It is a Pimelodid catfish. These look different from specimen to specimen, but the RTC-like face, plus the spots, make me think TSN/RTC.

I agree with you justonemoretank - RTCxTSN. Hope that guy has a plan to get a nice BIG home for this fish, and hybrids grow so fast too.
