Some time ago I bought three catfish, but they were really small.
Today I look in my tank were they are in and got the scare of my life, from my 43 C.Moorii fry there are only 18 left and there are no body's or any leftover from them anywhere and also the catfish grew a lot .
So I want do know what they are because I want to know how big they get (and how big they can eat)

Thank u the 2 are indeed the tachysurus fulvidraco.
The other one that's different I didn't see between them, but he's more stretched out and black with a white belly

Catfish LOVE fry - make no mistake. If you want to save any fry, don't house them with catfish, other than cory cats.

+1, I had a few bumblebee catfish with my pair of texas cichlids. The first time they spawned those little buggers ate the wigglers like 3 little vacums.
