A farmer gave this Local catfish to me.. they said their whiskers are poisonous... any experts that can advise me (care sheet) thank you very much

Agree with the Clarias genus, not sure of the species. My first guess is the common walking catfish Clarias batrachus

... or you can look through the Clarias genus and see if you find a better match.

Its spines in the dorsal and pectoral fins cause an intensely painful sting but nothing dangerous unless one's is allergic to the neuroactive chemicals causing the pain.

There is no catfish with poisonous barbels AFAIK.

Placing Clarias in a community tank is a trial and error, especially the smaller the tank, the higher the chances the catfish will harass its tank mates, and especially so bottom dwellers. They will harass and bite each other too often to death while establishing and viciously maintaining a hierarchy.
