ID this Channa please.

Pics taken from a wholesale store at Kurla, Bombay..

The Store-owner has no idea what type of snakeheads these are.

My guess is Channa pulchra.. but I am not sure. What do you guys think?

err..if the channa is sub-tropical, so what should i do to make them feel safe in my tank, so they will eat and swim around?

Hi,

its not from which country and if this is tropical.
Pulchra are from Myanmar, an the whole land is called tropical. But pulchra come from higher altitudes, and small streams, were the water does not get as warm as in the lowlands of the same country. So only the conditions in the fishy habitat are subtropical.
Malaysia is very tropical ;-)
