Not sure how common they are over seas. As I live in America and they are completely banned. But snakeheads are usually solo fish and don't mix well with other fish. Especially ur wolves from previous posts. Putting aggressive fish together result in one fish.
I hope it works out for you. But I wouldnt advise that. Watch out for your Aimara as there no dithers to distract it and ur other tankmates may have issues.
Thanks mate for the advice. When I first introduced the Channa into the tank, my curupira immediately took on the Channa and in fact had the Channa head inside his mouth. I have to intervene and the curupira let go. As for the Aimara it was the last wolf fish introduced into my tank and it has been suppressed by my larger Mala and Cururpira. The king is the Mala

It should be fine with its tank mates as long as they don't fit in its mouth. Back in the day in USA they were very common. One word tho be careful of your fingers I have had many larger reds and they will not think twice about attacking your hand
It'll do fine with tankmates until it starts to mature then the Channa will kill everything. Typically turn nasty around the 18" mark and it'll happen over night one day all is fine next morning solo fish and ripped up pieces of everything else lol.
Yeah, no matter what fish you keep, no matter who's the "king" and who's the "monster", it'll all end up as either a snack, or a toy. Either way everything will be ripped to pieces.
