not a SA.
it's a Melanochromis Auratus (I think); a male. African (malawi) indeed.

This was covered in your thread in the CA/SA Section mate, someones told you it's a Melanochromis auratus male, which I believe to be correct.

Yup, and its from Lake Malawi, so hopefully you aren't keeping it with CA cichlids.
