I am not experience with Dats. Ive had this guy for a while now but im noticing how its not very yellow even when stable. It this potentially a "silver"?

Thats what i originally figured. Its just not colourful. Maybe its because he doesn't have a good enough diet. I cant get him to eat anything other than tilapia! Any tricks?
Nothing in his diet gonna give him yellow. He's got black and an off white like a ray. very healthy looking
Thanks for the input guys. Figured maybe diet played some role in colour but i guess not. He is very nice. One of my favourite fish.
Id say 5" or so. Hard to be sure as tanks make fish size an illusion. I just moved my Jardini who looked 8" in the tank but was actually 11" when i pulled him out... Lol.
But all he eats is tilapia. Should i segregate him to try and get him on pellets? What the best way to get them on pellet?
