ID this discus

It is a pigeon blood, which actually has several other types of discus within the name. It is not even close to a marlboro. Discus commonly available in the hobby are not different species, but rather different strains.
i'd imagine it's a pigeon crossed with a turquoise or blue or whatever... shape is a bit footballish, eyes seem a bit large and there's quite a bit of peppering on the dorsal area
I think its a pigeon, cause of the peppering, but the blue and yellow colors let me in doubt

And is there some place that I can use as a guide to the different kinds of strains ??
Till now , I just see the diference between some marlboros, blue diamonds, pigeon bloods, ehehehehehhe.
Books are very difficult to find around here, and its because this is a brasilian fish, imagine if it were from another place.

Peppering and pigeon blood are two names for the same thing. Pigeon bloods are also a strain of discus, all of which have the dark spots which resemble pigeon blood, hence the name.
