at the 'Bama Breeze
I bought this guy assuming it as a juvenile granulosus or how ever you spell it. All the photos of the juvis I have seen they have been dark to almost black (the rest with him where). As you can see this one isnt. He is about 3" and I paid $15 for him.

Im thinking he is a Pterodoras rivasi.

i'm pretty sure you're right.

i had one of those a couple years back and had difficulty distinguishing the two... but the lighter coloration and the spotted pattern give it away.
 
How big did yours get? Planetcatfish says it gets about 21". That is way more manageable then the granulos' 30"+.

He is pretty cool. A bit more active then my 7" ralph...then again most rocks are more active then my ralph!!
